ESWATINI CELEBRATES OUTSTANDING JC ACHIEVERS OF 2025

Africa-Press – Eswatini. The Ministry of Education and Training has announced the top performers of the 2025 Junior Certificate (JC) examinations, highlighting an extraordinary display of academic excellence across the country.

Honourable Owen Nxumalo, Minister of Education, officially released the results at the Ministry’s conference room in Mbabane, recognising students who achieved an aggregate of 95% and above.

This year, the top position was shared by three candidates – Chitima Mazwe Vusizwe from Manzini Nazarene High School, Dlamini Thobekile and Ndlovu Yenzokuhle, both from Ngwane Park High School – all achieving a remarkable 97% aggregate. The exceptional results reflect not only the dedication of the students but also the unwavering support from teachers and school communities.

The top performers included 24 students who scored between 95% and 96%, representing a mix of boys and girls. Notably, girls accounted for more than half of the high achievers, demonstrating their continued academic strength and commitment. Among the standout female achievers were Mngometulu Mayibongwe Pearl (96%) from Manzini Nazarene High School, Matsenjwa Tilokotfo Ntombizile (96%) from St Theresa’s High School, and Mabuza Nompilo Sharon (95%) from Ka-Boyce High School. Boys also performed exceptionally well, with Dlamini Thobekile (97%) and Ndlovu Yenzokuhle (97%) from Ngwane Park High School, as well as Simelane Siviwe Andiswa (96%) from Entandweni Secondary School, showcasing impressive consistency in their academic efforts.

Manzini Nazarene High School emerged as a prominent institution, with six students making it to the top performers’ list, followed closely by Ngwane Park High School with three top achievers. Schools such as Ka-Boyce, St Theresa’s, St Michael’s, and others also contributed to the list, highlighting the spread of academic excellence across multiple regions.

Minister Nxumalo praised the students for their exceptional results, noting that these achievements reflect the potential of Eswatini’s youth when supported by committed educators and families. “These young achievers are an inspiration to their peers and a testament to the hard work, resilience, and focus that our students bring to their studies,” he said.
