Africa-Press – Eswatini. A young Eswatini agricultural enthusiast is raising the nation’s flag high on the regional stage. Mbukiso Fakudze, a fourth-year BSc Agricultural Extension student at Luyengo Campus, has been invited to represent the country at the Youth in Agrifood Performance Index Writeshop in Lusaka, Zambia, held from 24–26 November 2025.
Fakudze is the founder of Sisekelo Semphilo Farms, an innovative vegetable production enterprise that is rapidly gaining recognition for promoting sustainable agriculture. He also serves as the Marketing Manager for Enactus Luyengo Campus, where he contributes to youth-led development projects.
His selection for this prestigious writeshop highlights the growing impact of Eswatini’s young agricultural leaders on regional food systems. It also reflects the country’s commitment to empowering youth to drive innovation, entrepreneurship, and food security across Africa.
