FAMILY FUN DAY BRINGS JOY AND PURPOSE IN SUPPORT OF HELPING HAND FOUNDATION’S 10-YEAR ANNIVERSARY

Africa-Press – Eswatini. The spirit of community, generosity, and celebration came alive , May 1, 2025 during the highly anticipated Family Fun Day, a heartwarming event held in support of the Helping Hand Foundation as it marked an incredible milestone, 10 years of service to those in need.

The foundation’s anniversary was more than just a celebration; it was a tribute to a decade of impactful work and a renewed call to action for continued support. At the heart of this movement is the tireless humanitarian Ncamiso “Pads Guy” Mahlalela, whose mission over the past ten years has been to restore dignity and improve hygiene by providing sanitary pads to underprivileged individuals across Eswatini.

Attendees of all ages gathered to enjoy a lively atmosphere filled with games, music, food stalls, and family-friendly entertainment. But beyond the laughter and festivities lay a powerful purpose supporting a cause that directly touches lives.

What sets Ncamiso apart is his unwavering commitment and innovative approach. He has strategically placed donation bins at key social hotspots including The XChange Lounge & Shisanyama, The Smoke & Grill, Skippyville Café, Olive Café, Azul Lifestyle, IF’s Lounge, 23:28 Lounge, and Drift.Sz. These locations make it convenient for community members to drop off sanitary pad donations during their regular outings, turning everyday moments into acts of kindness.

Reflecting on the event and the journey so far, Ncamiso shared,

“It’s been a humbling and emotional experience watching this vision grow. What started as a small act of care has now become a community wide mission. I’m incredibly grateful for the support from every person who donated, showed up, and believed in this cause. This isn’t just about pads it’s about dignity, hope, and giving our sisters the confidence to thrive.”

“A special thank you to Waterman, Molly’s House of Grills, Pitso Qwabe of Jazz Friends, and Big Momma. Your support means the world, not just to me, but to every girl and woman who benefits from this initiative. You’ve helped turn a vision into reality, and I’m truly thankful for your generosity and belief in the cause.” Mahlalela said.

The event also left a strong impression on attendees. Community member Brian Mohammed shared that he is deeply grateful to the Helping Hand Foundation for their inspiring work in uplifting communities.

“ It was a privilege to contribute by donating sanitary pads and to support their mission of promoting dignity and well-being for young girls and women. Being part of this cause was a truly meaningful experience.” Mohammed said.
