Africa-Press – Eswatini. Thokozani Dlamini, the newly appointed Chief Executive Officer(CEO) of the First National Bank(FNB) Eswatini had to rush and marry Lensha Msibi, the Chief Financial Officer(CFO) of Liberty Life as the financial institution guard against sexual harassment allegations after the removal and re-deployment of Dennis Mbingo.
As a result, before taking over as the new FNB Eswatini CEO, Dlamini rushed and commenced the process of marrying the Liberty Life CFO, a few months before taking over the position.
The process started with “kuteka” before the white wedding that took place last week, CEO Thokozani Dlamini is marrying for the fourth(4th) time after divorcing his three(3) previous wives.
But FNB Eswatini made headlines after The Swazi Bridge, an online publication, accused the then CEO Dennis Mbingo of sexual misconduct, this did not go down well with Directors and shareholders of the bank and as a result, Mbingo was removed and re-deployed to head FNB Mozambique.
But even though Dennis Mbingo technically won a defamation court case against the online publication,FNB Eswatini is alleged to have conducted an internal investigation and as a result, Mbingo was subsequently re-deployed to head FNB Mozambique and the matter is back in court after a rescission court application.
A rescission application is a formal request to reverse or set aside a legal judgment, arbitration award, or other ruling that was made without the presence of the other party, human rights lawyer Sibusiso Nhlabatsi is representing The Swazi Bridge in the rescission application.
Efforts to reach FNB CEO Thokozani Dlamini proved unsuccessful at the time of compiling this report and even when this publication contacted his Personal Assistant(PA), the phone rang unanswered.
It has been disclosed that, amid the rush to marry, Liberty Life Chief Financial Officer Lensha Msibi allegedly informed her alleged boyfriend lawyer Mbhekwa Mtsetfwa that they must take a break as she was rushing to marry the FNB Eswatini CEO and the lawyer allegedly agreed after mutual understanding.
FNB Eswatini is alleged to have strengthened company policies to prevent sexual harassment allegations that might undermine the corporate reputation of the reputable financial institution.
