Africa-Press – Eswatini. Gogo Eswatini and S’lwane are set to host a pivotal men’s mental health camp titled “Mfowethu, u Grend?” from November 28 to 30, 2025, at a private location.

This groundbreaking initiative aims to address the pressing mental health issues faced by men across the nation, underpinned by the philosophy that “Heal a man, and heal the generations he will bring to mother earth.”

Fresh from their viral “Lugodvo Kimi” trend and a slew of entertaining TikTok videos, Gogo Eswatini and S’lwane have established themselves as prominent figures in eSwatini’s stand-up comedy and content creation scene. Their latest event is designed to create a safe space for men to seek answers to mental health challenges while fostering open dialogue among participants from all corners of Eswatini.

“We looked within ourselves, searched within our own families and communities. We read newspapers, saw it on TV, and heard it on the radio. Worse still, our social media timelines are filled with alarming instances of mental health crises,” S’lwane reflected. “From attempted suicides to completed ones, and sexual and gender-based violence, the red flags are unmistakable. We can no longer ignore the crisis of men’s mental ill-health. This event aims to assemble the men of Eswatini in a secluded location where they can engage with mental health professionals, social workers, and pastors, alongside others who have navigated these challenges.”

Gogo added, “As influencers, we feel a responsibility to leverage our platforms to improve the lives of those who support us. In a world where we often hear of friends and relatives lost to suicide or violence, we believe addressing these issues through gatherings like this is crucial. We are inviting gentlemen to join us and engage in meaningful discussions. Our goal is to bring together the best experts in mental, financial, reproductive, and holistic wellness for the betterment of our community.”

The camp is powered by partnerships with the Eswatini Psychology Association and will feature a carefully curated selection of experts in various fields, including financial health, men’s reproductive and sexual health, as well as relationship and marriage counseling.

To ensure a well-rounded experience, the event will also include refreshing activities such as hiking, aerobics, and comedy, with further details to be revealed on social media platforms.

This initiative represents a significant step towards addressing mental health issues among men in eSwatini, fostering a culture of openness and support that is vital for healing and growth. By engaging in this dialogue, Gogo Eswatini and S’lwane aim to not only heal individuals but also contribute positively to future generations.
