Africa-Press – Eswatini. King Mswati says uncontrolled wild fires destroy property and wildlife, he urged emaSwati to consult the Department of Fire before starting fires.
Speaking during the National Fire Day on Friday, the King applauded the Department of Fire under Chief Officer Luke Lushaba’s leadership for protecting life and property.
“Your continuous pursuit of excellence is commendable. The Nation is safe in your hands.You have produced true human machines-disciplined, courageous, and ready to respond to any emergency. The standards set today will inspire future generations.The Nation must always consult with the Eswatini National Fire, Rescue and Emergency Services before starting fires. Uncontrolled fires destroy property, wildlife, and endanger lives,” said the King.
