According to impeccable sources from the Mbabane giants’ camp, the goalkeeper was offered a one-year deal and an exciting pay. “Ciniso has officially joined the team and is currently in training with the rest of the players and will be making his debut, on Sunday,” the source shared. Meanwhile, when contacted by the publication, the former ‘Amathole Ezinyathi’ player declined to offer extensive details on his purported move to Mbabane Highlanders. However, he did confirm his affiliation with the club, expressing enthusiasm for the forthcoming season and the opportunities it presents. “Yes it’s true that I have signed for Mbabane Highlanders,” he briefly said.
The potential signing of the former Swallows development player could boost Highlanders, given the recent departure of their first-choice goalkeeper, Khanyakwezwe Shabalala, who joined Nsingizini Hotspurs in July.
