Africa-Press – Eswatini. In the quiet village of Mhlumeni, emotions ran high as Gogo Fakubi Mkhabela, née Fakudze, stood before a beautiful new home, a gift of compassion and restoration from Her Majesty the Indlovukazi.

Once left with nothing after a mysterious fire, locally known as lubane, consumed her home and belongings, Gogo Fakubi’s life has now taken a remarkable turn. Her story touched many, and Her Majesty responded with royal kindness by building her a new house, bringing warmth, dignity, and safety back into her life.

The official handover was led by the Deputy Prime Minister, Hon. Thulisile Dladla, who spoke on the importance of community, care, and national unity in times of hardship. Witnessing the handover, Gogo Fakubi was moved to tears, overcome with gratitude for this act of love and support.

This touching gesture reflects the nation’s enduring spirit of compassion and the strong leadership of the Indlovukazi, who continues to uplift the vulnerable with grace and generosity.
