Africa-Press – Eswatini. Infracast has bagged a tender worth E1 600 800 from Eswatini Railways.This tender was issued by the ESPPRA for fibre network upgrade for the supply of concrete sleepers.
The company scored 79.60 per cent to emerge as best evaluated tenderer, which stands to be granted the tender, according to a notice issued by the Eswatini Public Procurement Regulatory Agency (ESPPRA). There competitor was Colossal Concrete Products (South Africa).
It was mentioned that the company would be awarded the tender in terms of Section 45 of the Public Procurement Act No.7 of 2011(the Act), following a competitive bidding process.
It must be noted that in terms of Section 45(2) of the Act, the above contract award decision does not constitute a contract.
Further, in terms of Sections 45(4), 46 and 47 of the Act, all tenderers who submitted bids were notified that a period of 10 working days would be allowed for submission of any application for review from the date of first publication of the notice.
The notice was first issued on April 21.
