Africa-Press – Eswatini. With passion and conviction, Prime Minister Russell Mmiso Dlamini stood before hundreds of excited graduates at the Limkokwing University of Creative Technology, calling on them to become architects of their own destinies.

Speaking at the 2025 graduation ceremony at Mavuso Trade and Exhibition Centre, the PM challenged the youth to reimagine their role in Eswatini’s development, not as employees waiting for opportunities, but as innovators who create them.

Drawing inspiration from His Majesty King Mswati III’s vision of transforming Eswatini into a first-world nation, Dlamini emphasized that education must now serve as a launchpad for entrepreneurship and innovation.

“Limkokwing graduates do not have to seek jobs; they should create jobs,” he declared, adding that true education goes beyond knowledge, it empowers individuals to apply what they know to solve real-world problems.

He praised Limkokwing for revolutionizing Eswatini’s education landscape through its creative and entrepreneurial model. The Prime Minister noted that by producing industry-ready graduates, the university is helping reduce the country’s youth unemployment rate and changing the perception of technical and vocational training from a secondary option to a pathway for prosperity.

Highlighting the government’s commitment to education-driven development, Dlamini reaffirmed support for institutions that align their curriculum with national needs. He challenged Limkokwing to lead by example by developing its own modern campus and maintaining high academic standards regulated by ESHEC.

The Premier concluded by urging graduates to view their degrees as beginnings, not endings:

“Graduation is the start of a new journey. Choose to see opportunities where others see challenges and be the generation that transforms Eswatini through creativity, integrity, and innovation.”
