Africa-Press – Eswatini. The Liquor Boutique officially opened at Carters Mall, providing a dynamic platform to showcase and promote the products of local brewmasters.

The launch, which took place on November 24, 2025, was officiated by Msebe Malinga, Registrar of Companies at the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Trade, representing Hon. Manqoba Khumalo, Minister of Commerce, Industry and Trade.

Co-owned by Nomabizo Mabuza-Mthethwa and Nqebo Mabuza Nxumalo, the boutique offers a curated selection of local and international beverages, with a strong emphasis on supporting Swazi brewmasters. Among the featured local brands is “Shelela Gin,” crafted by home grown talent.

“This new establishment represents a tangible step in supporting our local economy, creating jobs, and giving local brewmasters a platform to grow,” Malinga said. “It also reinforces a competitive business environment and responsible operations, ensuring no liquor is sold to minors.”

The boutique aims to foster collaboration and growth among local entrepreneurs, providing a modern retail space where small businesses can gain visibility and reach new customers. Visitors can expect a vibrant shopping experience while discovering unique Swazi and international beverages.

“Today marks a new beginning, and we are filled with excitement for the future,” Malinga added. “We look forward to the positive impact this business will have in the heart of the Capital City, and we are confident it will be a great success.”

With its dedication to promoting local products, responsible trading, and entrepreneurship, the Liquor Boutique is set to become a key hub for Eswatini’s beverage industry, strengthening the small business sector while celebrating home grown talent.
