Africa-Press – Eswatini. Episode 510 of ‘Podcast and Chill with MacG highlighted one of Eswatini’s greatest creations, Sibebe beer and the alcoholic beverage consumption by fun lovers in the kingdom.

During the podcast, Hendrick who is the CEO of ‘Tomorrow, Tonight’, their guest during the episode. It is worth noting that ‘Tomorrow Tonight’ is a hangover remedy relief brand by him. He was questioned about the sales of his product since its launch. He mentioned that he had a discussion right before the show, where he was discussing that Eswatini and Namibia are the top two countries when it came to alcohol consumption. Hendrick also made mention that this could be because of the manufacturing of a local alcoholic beverage, Sibebe. It is also worth noting that the CEO mentioned that the biggest buyer of his hangover relief product was Eswatini, maybe due to the rate of alcohol intake within the country.

It is worth noting that this was not the first time the kingdom was part of the conversation during an episode of the podcast, as Mac G once gave a shout out, after he had been in the kingdom for a deejaying gig. Podcast and Chill with MacG has garnered controversial views in the past, all because of the topics that are discussed and the bombs that have been dropped in celebrity interviews. The controversial podcast over the years has surely managed to stir up hot disputes, placing it in the naughty corner, but despite this, it has managed to achieve a million YouTube subscribers. MacG entered the entertainment industry as a child star working on a children’s show and then later ventured into radio. The very first podcast episode was released in July 2018, hosted by MacG, Ghost Lady and Lenn Moleko, who left in 2020; presenter Sol Phenduka joined after.

The celebrity edition launched early in 2019, putting the show on the map with its various South African celebrities and entertainers being interviewed. Guests trended for all the spicy controversial truths they shared on the show. Guests have included Dr Malinga, Black Coffee, Tall Ass Mo, DJ Cleo, Sindisiwe Manqele (Flabba’s killer), Julius Malema, Teko Modise, Jub Jub, US singer Ari Lennox, Zola 7, Cyan Boujee, Dr John Kani and Boohle. Despite the criticism, the podcast has given entertainers a platform to freely express their stories, unfiltered and in their own voice.
