Africa-Press – Eswatini. A sense of optimism filled the air as the Minister of Commerce, Industry and Trade, Manqoba Khumalo, toured the Johnson Workwear factory to assess its development progress.
During the site visit, Khumalo expressed his satisfaction with the strides made so far, describing the project as a symbol of Eswatini’s growing manufacturing potential. “What we are witnessing here is a milestone for the local economy and a step forward in job creation,” he stated.
The Johnson Workwear factory, located in Nhlangano, is expected to significantly boost employment opportunities and contribute to industrial growth in the region. According to the Minister, the official handover of the facility is scheduled for the end of August, marking the beginning of full operations.
The visit reflects government’s continued commitment to supporting local industry and fostering an environment where businesses can thrive.
