Africa-Press – Eswatini. Mlungisi Makhanya, the eSwatini main liberation movement leader has, on behalf of the political organization, expressed solidarity with Tanzanian citizens allegedly killed by dictator Samia Suluhu Hassan who allegedly rigged elections to cling to power.
Addressing a National Executive Committee(NEC) last weekend, the President of the People’s United Democratic Movement(PUDEMO) said emaSwati were killed merely for demanding democracy and, were crying for solidarity and support from the international community.
“We are the last ones to remain silent, what happened in Tanzania comrades was unacceptable”, said the PUDEMO leader.
PUDEMO is eSwatini’s main and largest liberation movement fighting for democracy in the undemocratic tiny Kingdom situated in Southern Africa.
The country is ruled by King Mswati as an absolute Monarch, political parties are banned while human rights defenders are arrested, tortured or even killed for demanding democracy.
