Africa-Press – Eswatini. :Members of Parliament (MPs) have travelled to Nelspruit this week for a Workshop regarding the highly anticipated Eswatini National Provident Fund(ENPF) conversion into a National Pension Fund.
Speaking on Sunday evening, Mbabane East Member of Parliament Welcome Dlamini confirmed the trip to Nelsprit adding that, it will help them fully understand the Eswatini National Pension Fund Bill.
“It’s true Nkhosi, we are in Nelspruit for a Workshop just to understand the Eswatini National Pension Fund Bill. The reason we recommended a venue outside the country is because of the politics and a power- struggle, sometimes trade union leaders and others would come and disturb us, lobbying the MPs. So we needed a quiet place so we can learn about the Bill without any disturbance because as MPs, we also want to understand how the ENPF will address the concerns surrounding the conversion.
