Africa-Press – Eswatini. The 2024–2025 Malkerns Promotion League season officially came to a close in a celebratory ceremony held today at Stefanutti and Stocks, where Ngodini FC were proudly crowned champions.
The event brought together players, coaches, officials, and supporters in recognition of a highly competitive and action-packed football season. Ngodini FC, who demonstrated consistency and determination throughout the campaign, were the highlight of the day as they were presented with their championship trophy and medals.
League officials praised the team for their exceptional performance, noting their strong teamwork, discipline, and winning mentality. The club’s title win has not only brought pride to the community of Ngodini but also opened doors for the team as they look to climb higher up the ranks in Eswatini football.
“Let me take this opportunity to say my congratulations for Ngodini FC in their championship triumph and also say my condolences for their lost of their director who passed away in the middle of the season. Said office clerk of the Manzini regional association , Muzi Mtseftwa. “We are proud of Ngodini FC’s achievement. They have so worked hard even though they were mourning the passing of their director therefore, they fully deserve this championship,” added Mtseftwa Added.
The ceremony was also an opportunity to appreciate the contribution of sponsors, stakeholders, and technical teams that made the season a success. As the curtains close on another thrilling season, the Malkerns Promotion League continues to play a vital role in developing grassroots football in Eswatini.
“A big shout out to our sponsor SNS who have been sponsoring our games. We really appreciate that they support the talent of local football in Eswatini. We are also noticing that each year they increase the money that they give to these athletes because last was E 60 000 and this year is E 70 000. That means a lot to us as an association we really are thankful for that.” Said Mtseftwa.
With the crown now firmly on their heads, Ngodini FC will be looking ahead to new challenges and opportunities as champions of the 2024–2025 season.
