NGWANE PARK PRIVATE HEALTHCARE OFFERS FREE MONTHLY CHECK-UPS

Africa-Press – Eswatini. Access to quality healthcare just got easier for residents of Ngwane Park. Ngwane Park Private HealthCare has introduced a community health programme that will offer free medical check-ups every last Saturday of the month until the end of 2025.

This was revealed by Seluleko Dlamini, one of the nurses responsible for the initiative, during a health outreach held on Saturday, October 4, 2025, at Office 1, Cardo Square, Ngwane Park. The outreach drew over 60 people who received free consultations, screenings, and medication.

Dlamini said the initiative seeks to make preventive healthcare accessible to all and to raise awareness about chronic diseases and cancer. “This programme will continue every month-end until the year ends. As October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, we are also using this opportunity to teach and remind the public about the importance of regular screening,” she said.

The services offered included general health check-ups, HIV testing and prevention, screening for non-communicable diseases such as diabetes, hypertension, and kidney conditions, as well as breast and prostate cancer screening. Seniors aged 65 and above were offered specialized PSA and CEA tests.

Community members expressed appreciation for the initiative. One resident said he received free medication for high blood pressure, something he often struggles to afford. “It’s hard to go to the hospital when you’re not sick just to check your body. This programme is a great help to us,” he said.

Ngwane Park Private HealthCare encouraged more people to take advantage of the monthly check-ups to detect diseases early and maintain good health.

“Don’t wait until it’s too late prevention saves lives. Let’s take charge of our health together,” Dlamini added.
