The breakthrough came after meticulous investigations revealed the truth behind the suspicious death of a 26-year-old woman from Moti, kaPhunga. A 25-year-old woman from Mahhoshe, Ngudzeni, has been arrested and charged with murder and for violating Section 77 (1)(B) of the Children Protection and Welfare Act of 2012, taking a child without appropriate consent.
Initially, the suspect had reported discovering her friend dead in her rented flat at Logoba, Ndzevane, on October 5, 2025. However, through detailed police work, it was established that the victim had been poisoned and that the suspect had provided false information about the victim’s identity and background.
