It is clear that Lidlelantfongeni cares for the nation) “This house has given me back my dignity. I thank Lidlelantfongeni for rescuing me.”

Her sister Elda Tsabedze, recalled the hardship. “My sister’s old hut collapsed in the storms. She was moved from a roofless shelter to a mud-and-stick structure. Now she finally has a safe home.”

Meanwhile, the popular comedy duo of Gogo and Silwane were in their element as they entertainedthe communitymembers and educated them about the proposed conversion of the ENPF into a universal national pension scheme. There was jubilation as the public was told this will ensure all economically active emaSwati receive monthly income as pension until they pass away.

“This is good for us as ENPF is changing lives. Getting a monthly payout means real security and dignity,” said Zanele Tsabedze, a community member.

ENPF Board Chairman Mduduzi Gina said their commitment goes beyond financial services. It is also anchored in taking care of the elderly and people with disabilities.

Gina thanked the Minister of Labour and Social Security Hon Phila Buthelezi and the Board for his support for ENPF and the CSR programme. “Our CSR programme is the heart that pumps life into our belief that no one should be left behind. This house is a symbol of dignity and hope.”
