Africa-Press – Eswatini. MBABANE Highlanders have been boosted by the return of Sabelo ‘Sawa’ Gamedze and central defender Ndumiso ‘Tower’ Ndaba ahead of their MTN Premier League match against Tambankulu Callies.
The players have been out of action for more than a month.
Ndaba suffered a muscle pull while on duty for the national team while utility player ’Sawa’ was on plaster after a serious injury he sustained at training.
The duo has already started light training.
‘Sawa’ confirmed that he had removed the plaster and started light training.
“I feel much better as I am already doing light training on my own. If all goes well I will join my teammates before the end of the week,” he said.
It would seem this is a miraculous recovery for ‘Sawa’ after the team’s PRO Mandla Madonsela said he would be out for the rest of the season due to the injury.
Meanwhile, the capital city giants have a tricky clash this weekend against Tambankulu Callies.
The match is scheduled for Tambankulu Stadium on Saturday.
With eight matches remaining before the MTN Premier league curtain falls down, the Selaotse ’Sly’ Mosala-led side is second on the log table to Royal Leopard as they have an inferior goal difference.
