Africa-Press – Eswatini. EmaSwati from various communities in the Shiselweni Region have expressed their pride and gratitude for His Majesty King Mswati III’s recent birthday speech.

The citizens believe the address has reignited a sense of hope and determination among the populace.

Ntuli Thembekile Mdluli, a 54-year-old resident of Mbilaneni, spoke passionately about the impact of the King’s speech. “I am proud to be liSwati,” he declared.

“His Majesty’s commitment to ensuring that emaSwati wake up to a job has made me realise that the Almighty God has blessed us emaSwati.”

Mdluli emphasised that the speech has inspired many to be more optimistic about their future.

Amos Mkhaliphi, a 64-year-old elder from Gege, echoed similar sentiments. “His Majesty’s love for his people is overwhelming,” he said.

“Building standard houses for the elderly has renewed our hope to live long.” Mkhliphi’s words highlight the importance of the King’s initiatives aimed at improving the quality of life for the vulnerable members of society.

The youthful perspective was no less enthusiastic. Sikhanyiso Mavuso, an 18-year-old from Mashobeni, shared her excitement following the King’s address. “The King loves us all,” she said.

“These are good news, and His Majesty is proving to be a good parent. I enjoyed meeting the King.” Her words reflect the admiration and respect that young EmaSwati have for their monarch, reinforcing the bonds between the youth and their leadership.

Not to be outdone, 15-year-old Asanda Mavuso expressed her aspirations considering the King’s vision. “His speech shows that he loves his people.

I want to be a teacher,” she stated, capturing the hopes of the next generation and their desire to contribute positively to society.

It should be noted that as the nation continues to reflect on His Majesty’s inspiring message, it is evident that the Speech from the Throne has served to uplift and motivate EmaSwati across all ages.
