Africa-Press – Eswatini. Moses Vilakati, the Minister of Tourism and Environment Affairs has described the Swazi Rally as a contributor to economic growth and development.
Speaking during the launch of the 2023 Swazi Rally held at the Riders Ranch on Wednesday, the Minister said this year marks thirty(30) years of the successful hosting of the rally.
“That is why it is important for the Ministry to support events like Swazi Rally that continue to draw large crowds into the country – keeping our industry vibrant. We have seen the rally grow from pooling together a small community of bikers to drawing crowds from all over the SADC region and some travel from as far as overseas.It stimulates many industries in our country, from the local informal vendor, guest houses, hotels, restaurants, filling stations, eateries, entertainment venues, game parks, crafts and many more,” said the Minister as quoted by Government online platforms.
