Africa-Press – Eswatini. The total number of registered infections from SARS-CoV-2 in the United States of America exceeded the limit of sixty million yesterday Sunday, according to the data collected by Johns Hopkins University.
As of 16:21 (local time; 23:21 Greek time), the university reported 60.062.077 confirmed cases of the virus.
At the same time, the reported deaths of patients due to complications of COVID-19 reached 837.504, according to this Baltimore School of Medicine, which collects real-time data.
In absolute terms, the United States remains the country hardest hit by the pandemic, with more than 15% of deaths and about 20% of infections reported worldwide.
