Africa-Press – Eswatini. Eswatini Prime Minister Russell Mmiso Dlamini has told the media that, the United States(US) is paying the costs after reaching an agreement with the Kingdom of eSwatini for the hosting of dangerous criminals from various countries.
The PM addressed a press conference amid regional and global concerns regarding the dumping of the criminals in the tiny Kingdom.
But with allegations suggesting that, the country’s authorities particularly King Mswati benefited for allowing the dumping of the dangerous criminals, the exact amount remain a top secret.
Percy Simelane, the King’s Spokesperson distanced Mswati from this agreement saying, “it is Cabinet particularly the Minister of Foreign Affairs Pholile Dlamini-Shakantu who must clarify this issue”.
Eswatini is currently hosting dangerous criminals from Yemen, Jamaica, Laos, Vietnam and Cuba, these criminals were dumped by the US and the amount of money allegedly paid to the authorities remain a subject of an investigation by this publication.
