Campaign Trail: Museveni heads to Bushenyi, Kyagulanyi in Maracha

Africa-Pressuganda. President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni will be in Bushenyi on Tuesday as he campaigns to be re-elected to lead the country come January 14, 2020.

Other presidential candidates like Robert Kyagulanyi of the National Unity Platform will be in Maracha, Koboko and Yumbe, Henry Tumukunde an Independent will be in Bukwo, Kween and Kapchorwa while Patrick Amuriat will be in Budaka, Kibuku and Pallisa.

Independent John Katumba will be in Rakai, Lwengo and Masaka, Willy Mayambala in Gulu and Kitgum, Joseph Kabuleta is expected to be in Lyantonde, Bukomansimbi and Kalungu while Nancy Kalembe is set to be in Kalungu, Bukomansimbi, Masaka and Sembabule.

More so, Mugisha Muntu of the Alliance of National Transformation is expected to be in Kalaki, Amuria and Kapelebyong.

This is per the schedule agreed on with the Electoral Commission. A candidate may choose not to show up in a given area to campaign, but he or she is not supposed to be campaigning in any district where he or she is not scheduled to be.

There are 11 candidates in the presidential race, however, some of them like Norbert Mao, submitted their schedules late and are not on the first officially released schedule.
