Africa-Press – Ethiopia. Colombia’s Vice President, Francia Márquez Mina, and her delegation paid a courtesy visit to the Executive Secretary of the Economic Commission for Africa (ECA), Claver Gatete in Addis Ababa.
The meeting fostered enriching conversations focused on strengthening collaboration between Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC) and ECA, with a shared commitment to advancing Global South priorities.
Key issues discussed included trade, gender equality and GVB, Gender Responsive-Budgeting, Women’s Land Access, SDRs rechanneling, pooled pharma procurement, experience sharing and Global Tax Convention among the others.
Colombia’s Vice President, Francia Márquez Mina has been in Addis Ababa for an official working visit, it was indicated.
Morover, Ethiopia Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed, in the early hours of this morning, held discussions with Colombia’s Vice President, Francia Elena Márquez Mina on a wide range of bilateral issues.
