Africa-Press – Ethiopia. Ethio Telecom has launched a Three-Year Next Horizon Strategy (2026-2028) today.
Briefing journalists, Ethio Telecom CEO, Frehiwot Tamiru, said that the strategy is a bold strategy that would enable Ethio Telecom to be a leading catalyst for a thriving and digitally empowered Ethiopia and beyond.
It aimed at simplifying lives and accelerating digital Ethiopia transformation and beyond through reliable communication, digitally innovative solutions, and seamless financial services that empower communities, businesses, and nations far beyond connectivity.
She added that human-centric togetherness and collaboration, excellence, integrity and trust, innovation, social responsibility, and impact-driven are values of the strategy.
Accordingly, the strategy plans to increase its customer base from 83.2 million to 100 million customers by the end of the year 2018.
Whereas, the strategy also plans to boost the revenue growth from 331.5 Billion Birr to 842.3 Billion Birr, she noted.
