EPL: He’ll not win you any title – Carragher tells Ten Hag to replace Man Utd star

Africa-Press – Ethiopia. Liverpool legend, Jamie Carragher, has told new Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag to replace Marcus Rashford, insisting he will not win the Premier League title or Champions League for the Red Devils.

Rashford was one of several Man United players to struggle this season.

The 24-year-old scored just five goals in 37 appearances in all competitions for Man United.

Rashford was considering a move away from Man United earlier in the year after being repeatedly overlooked by interim manager Ralf Rangnick but is said to want to revive his Man United career under Ten Hag.

But Carragher believes Rashford is ‘not good enough for the Old Trafford outfit, adding that he is instead at the level of ‘Arsenal or Tottenham’.

“He is just not quite good enough for Manchester United, Marcus Rashford,” Carragher said on Sky Bet’s The Overlap show.

“That is all it is. That’s it, he is not quite good enough for Manchester United. He’s Tottenham or Arsenal.”

“He is not going to win you the league or the Champions League. You would need the two upfront with him to be megastars and he would be the addition.”
