MEDROC Contributes 63 Mil Birr for ‘Clean Ethiopia’ Initiative

Africa-Press – Ethiopia. MEDROC Investment Group, one of the largest business entities in Ethiopia, and its employees have contributed 63 million Birr for ‘Clean Ethiopia’ initiative which aims at building modern, clean and dignified public restrooms.

A ten hours period digital telethon is underway to raise 50 million Birr to support ‘Clean Ethiopia’ campaign initiated by Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed.

As part of the telethon, various segments of the society have been providing financial support to the initiative.

MIDROC Investment Group, CEO Jemal Ahmed announced today that employees of the company have contributed 13 million Birr while MIDROC Investment Group provided 50 million Birr to support the construction of modern, clean and dignified public restrooms.

MIDROC Investment Group is the largest business entity in Ethiopia operating as part of the global MIDROC International owned by the internationally acclaimed entrepreneur Sheikh Mohammed Hussein Ali Al-Amoudi.

It is a group of companies mainly engaged in Agriculture, Agro-processing, and Manufacturing, Mining, Hotel, Resort, Construction, Real-estate, and Commercial endeavors.

MIDROC is also widely known in Ethiopia for its active involvement in various social responsibility endeavors.

The digital telethon is underway to raise 50 million Birr to support ‘Clean Ethiopia’ campaign initiated.

Ethiopians both inside the country and abroad have already started providing financial support to the effective implementation of the initiative.

The initiative is one of the various development projects being carried out in Addis Ababa to give this city the appropriate international standard.
