Africa-Press – Ethiopia. A book titled “Meskerem to Meskerem,” containing the speeches and messages of Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed, was launched earlier today at Friendship Park Phase 2, in Addis Ababa.
The book, published by the Office of the Prime Minister, features 91 messages and speeches delivered by the Prime Minister Abiy from October 2022 to September 2023 at various national events, international conferences and public holidays.
Press Secretariat Head of the Prime Minister’s Office, Billene Seyoum, said at the launching ceremony that the book is the PM’s sixth compilation of speeches.
She noted that the history of a leader is intertwined with the history of the nation, in this sense; she explained that the book will serve as an information resource for historians, lawmakers and political researchers.
Students read and presented selected pages, sparking discussions, while professionals from various fields shared their insights on the content.
The book that consists of 415 pages contains messages from the Prime Minister in Amharic, Afaan Oromo, English and Arabic languages.
