Africa-Press – Ethiopia. Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed held bilateral discussions with Netherlands Prime Minister Dick Schoof and Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni.
In a message shared on social media, PM Abiy stated: “During our meeting with Prime Minister of the Netherlands, Dick Schoof, we discussed ways to further strengthen the strong ties between Ethiopia and the Netherlands.”
He noted that as one of Ethiopia’s key export destinations, the Netherlands presents significant potential to expand investment and economic cooperation.
PM Abiy also emphasized collaboration on climate action and explored opportunities to deepen bilateral relations through visits and exchanges.
Regarding Italy, he added, “The final bilateral meeting I held at the G20 Summit was with Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, where we discussed global and regional affairs, as well as key bilateral issues between our countries.”
