Africa-Press – Ethiopia. Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed, in his trip to Arba Minch, Southern Ethiopia Region, has reviewed the progress of key projects in several sites of the city.

The Prime Minister traveled to Arba Minch for the celebration of the 19th Nations, Nationalities, and Peoples (NNP) Day on 8th December 2024.

In addition to partaking in this important national commemorative program celebrating our diversity, during his visit, the Prime Minister reviewed several key sites, including a fruit nursery, the Bounty of the Basket initiative projects, Dine for Ethiopia project review, ongoing corridor development efforts, and Nech Sar National Park.

These visits highlighted the city’s advancements in agricultural productivity, urban infrastructure, and tourism development—critical pillars for driving economic growth in the city and the broader region, according to Office of the Prime Minister.
