Africa-Press – Ethiopia. Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed has today welcomed a high-level government delegation from China’s Jiangsu Province, led by Xu Kunlin.
During their courtesy call, key members of the delegation discussed various matters with the Prime Minister.
The delegation, which includes senior government officials and leaders of anchor companies from Jiangsu, has arrived in Addis Ababa today.
The delegation is participating at the China-Africa (Ethiopia) Economic and Trade Cooperation Forum, which opened this afternoon.
Jiangsu is China’s second-largest economy, with 76 of its companies actively investing in Ethiopia. Their total investments exceed 1.3 billion dollars.
