The UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs has issued a dire warning of impending flooding during Ethiopia’s upcoming rainy season, threatening the livelihoods of over 1.9 million people. Of particular concern is Ethiopia’s Somali region, where more than 1.2 million individuals are expected to be affected by floods.
