This coming international break the Warriors of Zimbabwe will play against Bafana Bafana of South Africa and Ethiopia. These teams have already named their provisional squads that will play against Zimbabwe. However, it is not the same song with the local football governing body, ZIFA.
Zimbabwe Football Association is too relaxed that it is yet to select the provisional squad that will troop in for camping and no one knows the criteria they will use to select the guys who will come for the two matches.
With ZIFA on the back foot, Warriors’ fans want their voices to be heard as they have come up with the squad they think will make a difference if selected. This selected squad is mainly based on current club performance, match sharpness and match involvement at their respective teams. This will totally rule out players who are playing in Zim’s local league.
