Greater Tomorrow secured a vital 1-0 victory over TMT at the Basori playing ground to earn three important points. The decisive goal came in the 20th minute when Ebrima Manneh scored with a solo effort. Despite sustained pressure from TMT in the second half, Greater Tomorrow maintained defensive discipline to hold on for the win. The result moves the team to 14 points, placing them 14th in the table.
In another encounter, Real de Banjul came from behind to defeat Brikama United 2-1 at the Box Bar Mini Stadium. Brikama United opened the scoring in the first half through Dembo Danjo. Real de Banjul responded after the break, with Makaira Tambedou equalising before Sidiki Jawara netted the winner to complete the comeback. The victory lifts Real de Banjul to ninth position with 13 points.
Meanwhile, Fortune FC and Samger played to a 1-1 draw at the Ousman Saho field in Old Yundum. Alieu Gibba gave Fortune the lead, but Ismaila Manneh equalised for Samger. The match saw Fortune reduced to 10 players after Matarr Njie received a red card in the 39th minute. Despite the numerical disadvantage, Fortune held on to secure a point and remain fourth with 16 points.
Following the latest fixtures, Gambia Ports Authority (GPA) continues to lead the league with 19 points, followed by Bombada FC and Hawks FC in second and third positions respectively, both on 17 points.
