Africa-Press – Ghana. Mr. Eric Edem Agbana, Member of Parliament for Ketu North in the Volta Region, has said that the Creative Arts Industry in his beloved Constituency has not been left out of their numerous initiatives.

“What inspires me most is the unwavering support from the youth of Ketu North. Their energy is unmatched. Their beliefs are humble. Their creativity is unstoppable. I love my people, and I will always stand with them fully and unapologetically.”

Mr Agbana gave the indication ahead of the 3rd edition of his entertainment show, dubbed ‘The Edem Agbana Carnival’, which many described as the biggest entertainment event in the Volta Region, slated for Friday, December 26 at the Eleme School Park in Afife.

“No political rally pulls the kind of numbers we see at the ‘EdemAgbanaCarnival’. It is the biggest entertainment event in the Volta Region currently and there is no cap.”

“The creative arts community in Ketu North has found new confidence and visibility through it,” he said.

Mr Agbana further stated that the initiative saw emerging real collaborations and tangible opportunities being unlocked, adding “the local economy receives a boost on a scale that even our biggest festivals have never delivered.”

He also reminded the youth that they remained the architect of their own destiny, where they must take up the responsibility of going the extra mile in every art.

“Before I became the NDC’s Parliamentary Candidate for Ketu North, the NPP maintained a surprisingly strong foothold here. They genuinely believed this seat was within reach. Today, the landscape has shifted not by accident, but through hard work, consistency, and a relentless focus on people-centred engagement.”

“Still, we are not complacent. We are consolidating our gains and raising the bar because our people deserve nothing less than our best,” he added.

The upcoming event will see DJ Stephen leading the pack in terms of music policy with others such as DJ Obey, DJ X-Brain, DJ X Volume, and DJ Cross who are ready to deliver another masterpiece.

The ‘Edem Agbana Carnival’ is a springboard for those in the arts and entertainment sector which was launched three years ago at Dzodze Dzesime.

The Third Edition, according to the organisers, would be a different kind of fire, presenting a bigger stage, a louder statement, and a stronger movement.
