Africa-Press – Ghana. Dr Rexford Appiah-Kubi, a Theologian and an author has urged Christians to get prepared for the rapture as the current world events, from natural disasters to geopolitical tensions point to the end times.

He said Jesus made 20 predictions concerning the end times, including advances in knowledge and travel, rise of false prophets, wars, and rumours of wars, famines, pestilences, earthquakes, and moral decline.

“The current world events, from technological advancement to natural disasters, from COVID-19 pandemic to geopolitical tensions, demonstrates my extensive research on the signs,” he stated.

Dr Appiah-Kubi gave the advice in an interview with the Ghana News Agency on his book, “”Building the Temple of Jerusalem, The Predictions of the End Time & Rapture.”

The book provides an ambitious exploration of biblical prophecy, eschatology, and end-times theology, and bridges Old Testament temple typology with contemporary world events.

Dr Appiah-Kubi said the present generation were at the threshold of Christ’s return and that, “Believers seeking to understand prophetic signs and prepare for the rapture, the book offers extensive material grounded in scriptural interpretation and current affairs.”

He appealed to the public who read the book to accept Christ and maintain righteousness.

In another book, “The Role of Angels in the Believer’s Spiritual Warfare,” the author writes to equip believers with victorious Christian living.

It outlines the functions of Guardian Angels for personal protection, Medical Angels for healing, the Archangel Michael for warfare, Gabriel for prophetic messages, and specialised forces like the Hunters, Fishers, and Craftsmen for specific spiritual battles.

Dr Appiah-Kubi said the book was particularly suited for believers in contexts, where spiritual warfare was openly discussed and practised, and for those who sought to understand how angels might actively participate in daily Christian life.

“This book offers extensive teaching, practical tools, and encouragement to view angels as God-given allies in the Christian journey,” he stated.
