Africa-Press – Ghana. Ghanaian Para-athlete Zinabu Issah has secured her second silver medal at the ongoing World Para Athletics (WPA) 2025 Marrakech Grand Prix.
Issah who showcased her talent and determination, won the silver medal in the Women’s F57 Shot Put event with a strong throw of 8.54 meters.
She was a few centimetres behind her Nigerian counterpart who threw 8.94 meters to win the gold medal.
Issah’s remarkable performance continues to solidify her place among Africa’s greatest para-athletes in field events.
With this latest success, she is on the verge of qualifying for the Women’s F57 Shot Put and F57 Discus Throw at the prestigious WPA 2025 World Championships and the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games.
However, to fully cement her qualification credentials, Issah is scheduled to participate in additional WPA international tournaments, including the WPA Paris 2025 Grand Prix and the All-Women WPA 2025 Grand Prix in the Czech Republic.
Her consistent improvement and ability to break her personal bests position her as a strong contender for upcoming major global competitions.
