Africa-Press – Ghana. Former Asante Kotoko captain, Amos Frimpong has called on the current players not to underrate Accra Hearts of Oak ahead of the game involving the two sides.
Both Hearts of Oak and Asante Kotoko are struggling for results in the Ghana Premier League which has left both of them out of the top four.
This Amos Frimpong says can lead to any of the giants being relegated and will for that give their all in the Super Clash on Sunday.
“Any of the teams can be relegated and because of the bragging rights, they will give their all on the day
“The players will come into the game with,” Amos Frimpong told Connect FM in an interview.
Despite Asante Kotoko being the better side this season, Frimpong has advised his former team not to be over-complacent in the game and also to be composed in front of goal.
“Games involving the two sides is always difficult but this time, Kotoko looks favourite based on their last three games’ performance as compared to Hearts of Oak.
“They need to keep their composure in front of goal. I have watched them and they create a lot but for their composure, they would have scored more.
“When most people expect Kotoko to beat Hearts of Oak in Kumasi is when the latter shows up and delivers,” Amos Frimpong added.
