Africa-Press – Ghana. The security service in Nkwanta South Municipality in the Oti Region, have joined forces with the Beyond the Word Ministries to organise fun games to enhance peace in the area.
The Ghana Police Service, the Ghana Arm Forces, the Nkwanta Old players and Nkwanta All Stars congregated to participate in football games to unite the factions in the conflict in the area.
The event not only showcased athletic prowess but also serves as a platform to foster peace and solidarity among diverse groups.
The Nkwanta All Stars football club, at the end of the game, emerged victorious, further igniting community spiritedness and enthusiasm.
Mr. Bright Owusu Nyasemhwe, Chief Executive Officer of Beyond the Word Ministries, which comprises Beyond FM, Bfresh Natural Mineral Water, and many others, has pledged unwavering support for any initiative aimed at nurturing and promoting peace within the Municipality and its surroundings.
“This commitment underscores the importance of collaborative efforts in strengthening community bonds,” he said
Mr. Joseph Kwame Antwi Awal, the Municipal Chief Executive of Nkwanta South, emphasized the significance of such activities in reinforcing the progress made during the ongoing peace-building process.
The MCE’s encouragement reflects a shared dedication to cultivating an environment where harmony thrives through engagement in enjoyable and constructive activities.

The chiefs from all the three tribes, Akyode, Adele, and Challa, were present to support the initiative.
