Africa-Press – Ghana. Cola Bottling Company of Ghana has reduced the price of its 300ml plastic bottles of Coca-Cola, Fanta, and Sprite from GH¢6.00 to GH¢5.00.
A statement said the price drop aims to offer consumers “more refreshment and celebration” at a competitive cost.
Personalised Coca-Cola bottles are now available in shopping malls, supermarkets, retail outlets, and other locations nationwide.
“There’s magic in every moment, and now, it’s more affordable than ever to Share a Coke with your friends and family,” the statement said.
It encouraged consumers to find their names on bottles, share laughs, and create lasting memories.
In June, Coca-Cola relaunched its “Share a Coke” campaign, first introduced in 2011, which featured customised bottles bearing popular names in place of the company logo.
The campaign, updated to reflect modern trends, celebrates friendship and real-life connections in an increasingly digital world.
“While digital spaces keep us close, it’s those shared moments in real life that make for lasting memories,” the company noted, adding that physical ‘third spaces’- where people gather- are in decline.
Coca-Cola has invited fans to post their “Share a Coke” moments using #ShareACoke on Instagram, Facebook, and X (formerly Twitter) for a chance to win exciting giveaways.
