“We need a face with vision,In Bryan, we have a presidential candidate that can be trusted, It is Bryan and the rest, In Bryan, NPP will be revived, the voice of the masses is seen in Bryan.”
These endorsements reflect not only admiration for Dr. Acheampong’s political acumen, but also a broader yearning for a leadership figure perceived as capable of bridging party ideals with national aspirations.
His reputation as a strategic thinker, experienced policymaker, and responsive public servant seems to resonate deeply with the base, particularly in the wake of calls for generational renewal and a reinvigorated political message ahead of the 2028 general elections.
The conference further highlighted a growing consensus that the party must reposition itself around a transformative leader capable of uniting factions and appealing to a broader national electorate.
Many delegates said Dr. Acheampong embodied that promise.
While he has not officially launched his bid to contest for the party’s presidential slot in 2028, the groundswell of support suggests that his entry into the race could significantly shape internal party dynamics in the months ahead.
