FIFA Opens Random Selection Ticket Phase for 2026 World Cup

Africa-Press – Ghana. FIFA has opened the third phase of ticket sales for the 2026 World Cup, allowing fans to enter a random selection draw for single-match tickets until January 13, 2026.

This marks the first time supporters can apply for tickets based on confirmed match schedules for the group stage of the expanded 48-team tournament.

Nearly two million tickets have already been sold during earlier phases, including the Visa Presale and Early Ticket Draw.

Applications can be submitted at FIFA.com/tickets, and the timing of entry within the window would not affect chances of success.

Fans must log in with a FIFA ID or create an account to apply. Successful applicants would be charged automatically in February, while partially successful entries will receive some, but not all, requested tickets.

Supporters of specific national teams can also apply for Participating Member Association (PMA) tickets from Dec. 11, subject to eligibility criteria set by each association.

Hospitality packages and all-inclusive travel deals are available through FIFA’s official partners, while a resale marketplace would open on December 15, 2025.

Applicants must be at least 18 years old. Full rules and FAQs are published on FIFA.com.
