Ghanaian duo Iddrisu Baba and Lumor Agbeyenu were last night very instrumental as Real Mallorca defeated until the defeat leaders Real Madrid at the Iberostar Stadium.
The home side took the lead as early as the 7th minute through a Lago Junior curling shot.
Defensive midfielder Iddrisu Baba broke up play intelligently for the home side and got a yellow card deep into injury time for a high foot on Brahim Diaz.
Full back Lumor Ageyenu came on in the 46th minute as replacement for fellow full back Joan Sastre Varnell who had a torrid day from Vinicius Junior and a yellow card for his troubles.
Real Madrid’s Alvaro Odriozola was shown a red card for two bookable offences in the 74th minute of the game.
Lumor Agbeyenu put in a good shift to help his side record a famous victory over Real Madrid.
Midfielder Iddrisu Baba has played nine times for Real Mallorca this season earning three yellow cards while Lumor has played six times this season.
