Africa-Press – Ghana. Dr Gideon Boako, the Member of Parliament for Tano North Constituency in the Ahafo Region has commended the delegates in the region for voting for the former Vice President Alhaji Dr Mahamudu Bawumia in the just ended presidential primary of the New Patriotic Party (NPP).
He said he was highly impressed about the outcome of the elections in the region, saying that the results reflected the will of the delegates.
Interacting with the media at Duayaw-Nkwanta, the Tano North constituency capital, Dr Boako said he and the former Vice President would forever be grateful to the delegates for the massive support.
“The outcome of our presidential primary shows that we still need Bawumia as the flagbearer to lead our great party to an electoral victory in the Election 2028”, the MP stated. Dr Boako lauded the NPP Presidential Election Committee for facilitating free, fair, and credible elections to the satisfaction of all stakeholders.
