Africa-Press – Ghana. Mr Eric Edem Agbana, Member of Parliament (MP) for Ketu North, has appointed zonal coordinators under the Ketu North Skills and Apprenticeship Programme (KN-SAP) to strengthen implementation and improve delivery across the constituency.
The programme, which currently benefits 525 young people, is a key initiative aimed at promoting skills development, creating employment opportunities, and advancing human capital growth in the municipality.
In a press release, the MP said the appointments formed part of efforts to ensure effective coordination, close monitoring, and timely support for beneficiaries at the grassroots level.
The coordinators are Mr Patrick C. J. Ahiaxornu for the Dzodze Zone, Mr Aurelius P. Dzissah for the Penyi Zone, Ms Celestine Dogbatsey for the Afife Zone, and Mr Abraham Dogba for the Weta Zone.
Mr Agbana explained that the coordinators would supervise programme activities within their respective zones, monitor beneficiary progress, address operational challenges, and serve as a link between the programme and the communities.
He added that they would report directly to his office to ensure accountability, transparency, and efficient execution of the programme.
The MP described the initiative as a strategic move to deliver measurable impact across communities, stressing that skills development remained vital to youth empowerment and local economic transformation.
He appealed to stakeholders, including community leaders, traditional authorities, and beneficiaries, to cooperate fully with the coordinators to ensure the programme’s success.
Mr Agbana also congratulated the appointees and urged them to justify the confidence reposed in them through dedication, professionalism, and results-driven service.
The Ketu North Skills and Apprenticeship Programme is expected to significantly improve livelihoods, promote self-reliance, and foster inclusive development in the constituency.
