Africa-Press – Ghana. President John Dramani Mahama has suspended all his scheduled activities and programmes for the rest of the week, following Wednesday’s national tragedy involving eight persons who died in a helicopter crash.
Mr. Felix Kwakye Ofosu, the Presidential Spokesman and Minister in-charge of Government Communications, in a statement said there would be three days of national mourning starting tomorrow, Thursday, 7 August, 2025.
The statement said the Government, through Mr. Julius Debrah, the Chief of Staff at the Presidency, had meanwhile directed that all flags must fly at half-mast until further notice.
