Africa-Press – Ghana. The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has expressed gratitude to voters in the Greater Accra Region for the warm reception given to its flagbearer, John Mahama and the campaign team during their recent visit to some constituencies.
A statement issued by the Greater Accra Regional Communication Directorate of the NDC in Accra, yesterday, said the overwhelming support, kindness, and hospitality displayed by the people of the region had left the party humbled and inspired.
“We are thrilled by the massive turnout and the excitement that greeted our team in every constituency we visited. This is a clear indication that the people of Greater Accra Region are ready for change and are embracing our message of hope and transformation to build the Ghana we want,” said the Greater Chairman of the NDC, Emmanuel Nii Ashie Moore.
The statement thanked the various people who came out to listen to their messages for the warm smiles and open arms, thought-provoking questions and insightful feedback, support and encouragement and trust in the party’s leadership and vision.
