Africa-Press – Ghana. The Bono Regional Police Command has commended stakeholders for the peaceful and successful conduct of the just-ended New Patriotic Party (NPP) presidential primary in the region.
A statement signed by Chief Inspector Thomas Akeelah, Bono Regional Public Relations Officer (PRO) of the Ghana Police Service, also lauded the Electoral Commission (EC) and the media in the region for their contributions to the success of the exercise.
The statement explained that the Police collaborated with key stakeholders and implemented comprehensive security arrangements, which ensured the smooth conduct of the elections across all 12 political and administrative constituencies in the region.
It further expressed appreciation to delegates for their cooperation, which contributed significantly to the peaceful outcome of the primary.
